Our client, a digital infrastructure services firm, is seeking a Data Center Test Technician to support a major, multi-year data center commissioning program in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. This is a direct-hire opportunity involving back-to-back data center projects, with work expected to transition into an ongoing maintenance phase upon project completion.
What you'll do
- Perform testing and commissioning activities throughout the installation phase of large-scale data center builds
- Maintain continuous, thorough documentation and reporting throughout all stages of the project
- Interface directly with the end client on-site, serving as a technical point of contact during commissioning activities
- Support the full project lifecycle from pre-mobilization and preparation through to handover and potential long-term maintenance
What you'll bring
- Hands-on experience with data center testing and commissioning — this is not a field services role
- Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to represent the team professionally on-site
- Demonstrated discipline in continuous reporting and technical documentation
- Familiarity with hyperscale data center environments is an advantage
- Highly motivated self-starter who can manage competing priorities across a fast-moving, large-scale project
