A prominent national law firm is looking to add an M&A associate to its energy transactional practice, based in either Washington, DC or the broader Mid-Atlantic region. The role centers on corporate and deal work within the clean energy sector, with a strong emphasis on renewable power projects.
What you'll do
- Advise on mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions involving clean energy assets and infrastructure
- Support deal teams across a variety of renewable power project types, including generation and storage technologies
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents to a high standard
What you'll bring
- Three to seven years of experience in M&A or corporate transactional law
- Background advising on deals involving renewable or clean energy assets is strongly preferred
- Active bar admission and good disciplinary standing in DC or Virginia
- Excellent written communication skills, sound professional judgment, and the ability to engage clearly with clients and counterparties
What's on offer
- Base salary ranging from $260,000 to $370,000, commensurate with experience
