Our client, a forensic and technical consulting firm, is seeking a Forensic Engineer to join their team in Los Angeles, California. This role centers on structural investigations and litigation support, working primarily with attorney clients across insurance and design-related matters.
What you'll do
- Conduct forensic structural investigations to assess causation and evaluate design-related failures
- Provide litigation support services, including preparation of technical findings and expert analysis
- Perform standard-of-care assessments in connection with disputed construction and design matters
- Support insurance-related investigations as needed, collaborating closely with legal counsel
What you'll bring
- Background in structural engineering with hands-on experience in forensic investigations
- Familiarity with litigation support processes, including causation analysis and standard-of-care evaluations
- Ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly to attorney clients and legal teams
- Experience with design-related failure analysis is strongly preferred
- Based in or able to work from the Los Angeles, California area
