A market-leading renewable energy owner and operator is looking for a driven Transactional Attorney to join a lean, collaborative in-house legal team. You will support a diverse portfolio of solar, wind, and battery storage projects across the United States, advising on complex transactions throughout each project's full lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Provide legal counsel on a broad range of transactional matters, including project acquisitions, dispositions, and financings
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents across multiple deal types
- Advise internal stakeholders directly, acting as a trusted partner on deal strategy and risk
- Manage and supervise outside counsel as needed to support transaction execution
What you'll bring
- Minimum three years of corporate or transactional law experience, with a track record of managing deals and advising clients directly
- Strong academic background with a demonstrated record of achievement
- Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Superior organizational skills and rigorous attention to detail
- Sound independent judgment paired with the ability to collaborate effectively on complex matters
- Genuine intellectual curiosity and willingness to develop expertise in new areas of law
- Renewable energy experience is advantageous but not a requirement
