Our client, a Houston-based infrastructure consultancy specializing in water and environmental services, is seeking a Vice President / Principal to lead and grow their Municipal Utility District (MUD) practice. This is a senior, high-priority role with full ownership of an established MUD business line and a clear mandate to expand it.
What you'll do
- Take strategic ownership and day-to-day leadership of an existing MUD practice
- Manage, nurture, and deepen relationships with a current portfolio of MUD clients
- Identify and pursue new MUD client opportunities to drive measurable business growth
- Serve as a senior representative of the firm within the MUD and broader municipal utility market
What you'll bring
- Demonstrated senior-level experience in the Municipal Utility District sector
- Established network of MUD client relationships in Texas, with a track record of business development
- Background in infrastructure consulting, particularly within water or environmental disciplines
- Ability to operate at both a strategic leadership level and a hands-on client-facing capacity
- Based in or able to work from the Houston, Texas area
